A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

25 days has already past, since year 2011 has started!
But still, a happy new year!!

I spent the new year day transporting to FUKUOKA where my grandma lives.
It took about 5 hours from Wakayama by train.

I always go and visit my grandma around this time every year.
I suppose this is one of my "family culture".
But unfortunately, my brother and my mum couldn't come this year because my brother was busy preparing for the university enter examinations.

January is the most inportant month in a year for the students preparing for the exams in Japan!

All I can do for him as a sister is to just WISH him the bestest luck!


At grandma's house, we do nothing special
my uncle and his family gather together and eat Osechi and watch TV and just relax.
that is how it is to spend a new year day in our family and I love it.
