ISE SHRINE

8th Jan, 2011

I went to Ise shrine with my friend Sena.
Sena is one of my bestest friends and we were together from high school and we both entered Wakayama uni.

Ise shrine is the most special shrine in Japan.
It is in MIE, where I'm from and I'm sooooo proud of that.
I always talk about Ise shrine when talking about MIE.
Ise shrine is famous for it's history, nature, the street along the shrine and so on.
It is said that Ise shrine was the first sightseeing spot in Japan.
We say you should go and worship at Ise shrine once in a lifetime.

There is a street called "Oharai-cho" and "Okage yoko-cho" near the shrine
and a coroquette in Okage yoko-cho is so famous!
So, we lined up in the row and bought ourselves the coroquette.
It was sooooo nice! I understood why it's famous.
We also ate the famous "Akafuku" as well.

It was really fun spending time with Sena at our own hometown!
And I beleive that it was the last time I could see Sena before she leaves for New Zealand.
She will go on a working holiday from this Februrary.
I hope she will do her best in NZ.

BEST WISHES TO SENA.
